The October 7th webinar focused on Conflict of Interest.  Fay Gordon with Justice in Aging, and Julie Hamos with Health Management Associates presented an overview of the rules surrounding conflict of interest as defined through various Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regulations.  They also provided insight into how some of the implications of conflicts of interest can potentially be mitigated.

Matthew Reed and Abigail Morgan with Direction Home Akron Canton Area Agency on Aging and Disabilities presented on how they have built a strong organizational culture using these strategies to help drive performance.

The August 25th webinar focused on work flow design and how securing a contract may elicit new processes or ways of doing work within an organization in order to effectively fulfill the terms of the contract.  Krista Boston and Stephanie Minor (Minnesota Board on Aging) presented on work flow design, important stakeholders that should be involved in the process, as well as development of a work flow model.
